So, I interviewed at my nursing school of choice today. I was increadibly nervous, but I actually wound up doing a pretty good job.

However, I still didn't get in. :(

At least, not for the spring. You see, I haven't completed my Hep B vaccination series, and I cant be elegible without doing so. New students begin working clinicals at the hospital right away, and I can't be exposed to patients (or vice versa) until the series is done. The overlap was only two lousy months, but I still have to miss out. :<

I don't know what I'll do after December, though. I've finished all my required classes, and I'll have eight months with nothing to do. I guess I'll go find a job somewhere.

Alas. I'm going to go buy myself some chocolate and mope.

Hm... we seem to have trouble remembering things, don't we? I wonder if this might point towards some kind of memory problem..? :)

Oh, The Illusionist! Cool, I've heard that it's really good. I think I'll try to get to the movies sometime this weekend too. Maybe to see "This Film is Not Yet Rated." Next week, i'm going with a friend to see "Marie Antoniette" (Can... not... SPELL!). I haven't been in ages, it seems. Not since the intentionally abismal "Snakes on a Plane" (yes, I did see it, but it wasn't my idea :)

Oh, get around to bunging it over whenever you feel like it, hon! I must say, I apreciate the slashy pick me up! And don't be embarrassed by the first cut. After all, you've seen my un-proof read, unfixed fanfiction.

I can't wait to see it!

BTW, may I have permission to tie up your icon?

Memory problem? Gee, I don't know... It sounds vaguely familiar...

Just got back - The Illusionist was really good. I enjoyed it a great deal. And who knew Jessica Biel could actually act? Okay, not much in the way of acting was required for her role, but still - at least she didn't suck. And Edward Norton was great, and of course Paul Giamatti stole the show. Very entertaining movie. I hadn't been to the movies in ages. Only one person had their cell phone go off in the middle, which was an improvement from the usual two or three, but it still ticks me off and totally throws me out of the film. Grrr.

Heh, Snakes on a Plane. Managed to avoid that one. Marie Antoinette looks like it might be interesting, and we saw a preview for a movie called Catch a Fire that looked really good.

I'll send it over as soon as I can. Probably sometime tomorrow mid-morningish my time. :)

Oh, by all means tie up my icon, although if you try you may find yourself tied up instead. *g*

Yes, i definitly must get back to the movies!

A cell phone, huh? I hate that. Once I was stitting in a theater (during V for Vendeta, I think) next to a group of people who were all holding a conversation with each other (loudly), and one of their cells rang. They answered the phone and proceeded to have a conversation in the middle of the theater! I finally had to turn to them and say, "Um, excuse me, but I paid to see this movie." Not that that shut them up. Good movie, but I nearly wound up wasting my eight dollars thanks to them.

Re: Snakes on a Plane- I wouldn't recommend it, unless you find yourself high and in need of a cheap, repetative laugh.
Haven't heard of Catch a Fire, but I'm looking forward to MA. It's getting good reviews so far, anyhow.
I'm sort of interested in seeing Hollywoodland, if for nothing else than to confirm that Ben Affleck actually can act. Maybe I'll wait and rent it, though.

*Awaits fanfiction patiently*

Hee! Jeeves is tricky like that, but that's okay. He can tie me up anytime!

Oh, I HATE it when people answer their cell phones and talk in the middle of a movie. And I hate confrontation, so I never want to say anything, but I can't concentrate at all on a movie when someone's talking... grrr. That's one of the reasons I avoid going to movies in the theater lately.

I'm just about to start typing up those pages of your fanfic now. In the meantime, though, don't forget about lucylou's new fic, which I linked to on my recent LJ entry. You said you were going to wait on that, so now might be a good time!

I am SO okay with being tied up by Jeeves anytime. Ohhhhh, yes. *wibble*

Yep, I read it this morning- great fic. Loved it. Too bad it's not on Lj - I don't like reviewing with my old FF.net account. i haven't used it properly since I was 17.
