Art Dump, multifandom!

[small_hen]

Hi all.
So, it’s been about a year since I’ve posted any artwork, so I’m here to rectify that. Granted, it hasn’t been a very artistically fruitful year for me, but I’ve got a few sketches I wanted to share. All line art - I've basically given up on coloring.

The absolutely horrible job I did on Spock here is saved by the Bones' expression, IMO. As for the nose bandage ... yeah, I messed up and was working in ink. :P Let's say he got it rescuing Jim.

Untitled.

So, on the show, budget and effects constraints obviously limited the types of aliens the crew of the Enterprise could meet (humaniods and pizza rocks, basically). I wanted them to meet some tiny little guys (who, sadly, look like cute rejects from the movie "9"). Also, I love drawing TOS Bones.

"Sam in Makeshift Rehab"

Drawn from a screencap of...the episode where Sam is withdrawling at the end of season four. I've forgotten the title, sadly. Anyway, I honestly can't remember if that bucket under his bed was actually in the shot, or if I added it because I was concerned that he wouldn't have a place to throw up. Clearly I'm very invested in the wellbeing of my sketches.

"Harry, Don't Eat at My Desk!"

This is actually a pic from a RDJ photoshoot. I shoved him in a hoodie, changed his hair, and called him Harry. :) Originally came accompanied with text: "Harry! What the fuck did you do to my desk! Don't eat there ... and quit with the "I'm so cute" face!"

"Sleepy..."

I think this is the only drawing done in pencil, not ink. Anyway, I'm obviously addicted to drawing Harry Lockhart - and I love the idea of him falling asleep in random places, like a five year old.

"Homework Makes my Backpack Sick!"

Sorry about this one. :) Drawn for my nephew - as you can see, the scanner cut the text on this one as well.

Bear Hug (send help!)

There was some article years ago about a polar bear in Canada who would visit a huskey at the same time every day and play with him. Now the photos were adorable, but I don't care how cute it was, that dog must have been terrified.

I so looooooove your art my dearest! <3<3<3

[ennui-blue-lite.livejournal.com]

Aw, thank you! Do you keep your art somewhere other than your Lj, and if so, can I have a link? You're pretty much my favorite artist on the net, and I want a gallery!

[laurazel.livejournal.com]

Awww nouuu don't say that, I don't deserve it! *blushes hotly* You are too kind with me! *glomps and snugs*

I have a DeviantArt account (more "clean") here:
http://laurazel.deviantart.com/
and an Y!Gallery account (very naughty!) here:
http://yaoi.y-gallery.net/user/zel/

I truly hope to see you there sweetie, so I can collect all your art in my favourite list! <3<3<3

[ennui-blue-lite.livejournal.com]

Oo, thank you so much! *saves both to favorites* I basically just keep all my artwork on LJ. I used to have a Devient art, but I forgot to pay for it. :)

Ha! Icon...

Aww, hon, you know how much I love these, but I will tell you again:

I think my favorite one is the polar bear and the dog. Because the cuteness is absolutely overwhelming. And because yeah, who wouldn't be afraid of a polar bear!? :DDD

I ♥ u 4eva

Hahahahaha!Okay, I need a link to that site where you got the spinning hearts.

You're telling me that you wouldn't want to be hugged by a polar bear? Really? Cause I thought that was, like, your life goal.

Luv you until [/time]

Ah, thank you! It feels great to be drawing again!

[nargynargy.livejournal.com]

Ah, I love all of these fandoms! The first is perfect, their suspicious hunched over bodies - McCoy's resemblance is excellent. What on earth is going on in the second pic? I LIKE IT :D
I love the rehab one of Sam, and Harry too! You should definitely draw more, don't leave it for a year dude :O

[ennui-blue-lite.livejournal.com]

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it! In the second pic, what's going on is basically, the crew of the enterprise is meeting with the leaders of an alien race, who happen to be three inches tall. They're very friendly. McCoy's thinking he could do without their friendliness.

I plan to keep drawing now. I won't leave it for a year again.

I think they're all adorable. I especially like McCoy and the Little People.

So glad you posted.

Oh, thank you so much!

I'm glad you liked them!

[rivers-bend.livejournal.com]

I love them! (I don't have cool spinning hearts, though)

the backpack literally made me shriek in delight, and OMG POLAR BEAR OF CUTENESS. TOS Bones is also my favorite because he looks so long-suffering and adorable all at once. ♥

Yay! Link to cool spinning hearts, if you're interested: http://www.glitter-graphics.com/myspace/text_generator.php

I'm so thrilled that both you and Julie liked and commented on my original sketches! I mean, I love any comment on my artwork, but it's easier for all of us here to love fandom.

Bones is very, very long-suffering. And adorable. So I'm glad I captured that. XD
