Hello.

So, I've decided to make an effort to do a bit more posting, both at my own journal, and on the journals of my friends. I'm in a place lately where I'm not really sure how I'm doing, but I am sure that it's not especially good. And, of course, when I get that way, the first thing I do is withdraw from everyone. So I'm making myself go the way of catharsis through posting instead. It just feels healthier.

How is everyone else doing?

Anyway, I hate to just post without showing off something fanish, so I've got a couple of drawings.

I just never get tired of drawing this little guy.

I love how every version of Holmes has a little queen in him, even the disney mouse version.

This is clearly the Marvel Adventure version of Tony Stark, because I understand that he's the only version who ever has a reason to smile, ever.

"Hi Steve! Isn't it great that neither of us is dead, and no one has brain cancer? Let's go fund a reading program for third graders! Wheeeeeee! What's alcohol again?"

Sadly, I think MA is my favorite version of the Avengers, and that's upsetting, because I'm not six years old.

Tsk tsk, stop being harsh on yourself, MA isn't for kids, is an All Ages comic, so you're good!

And we all love it anyway.

I suppose that's true.

I'm a sucker for innocent characters, especially considering all the dark incantations of the Avengers living upsetting lives in neighboring dementions. I don't read MA all that often, but when I do, I enjoy it.

Thanks for coming in to look.

Your artwork is fantastic, as always.

And I love you, honey, you know that. Anything I can do to help you feel better, just name it. ♥

OMG, Basil of Bakerstreet! *gleegleeglee*

And Tony ^_^. I especially like the way you drew his beard and hair, and his little smile.

I think MA is my favorite version of the Avengers

I suspect it's everyone's favorite version of the Avengers -- it's the happy universe where even the Incredible Hulk is cute, and Steve and Tony go on dates together.

Thank you! Hee! Yes, the happy version of the Avengers, with basketball burger dates, and Tony playing with Steve's sheild, in a totally non-euphamistic way.

And Basil is way too much fun to draw. He's such a bipolar drama queen.

Thanks for coming in to say hi!

Tony made me squee right out loud. He's adorable! Nicely done!

(MA is also my favorite, but it's hard to write MA fic.)

Squeeeeee! Yay! I'm glad you like it!

I've never tried to write MA, but it seems like it would be hard.

Thanks for dropping in!

Love your art! I need to go watch The Great Mouse Detective again...

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who escapes a bit to LJ when life isn't as fun as it should be. Actually, I'm still looking for that job where I can read and write fanfic all day. :)

Oh, that would be a brilliant job, wouldn't it? Professional beta, I guess.

Yes, go watch it again. It's darling! *runs off to draw more cartoon mice*

I'm feeling a little better today - let's hope it lasts.

Yes, go watch it, in all it's mousey glory! The villain is voiced by Vincent Price, and he positively *minces*. It's great!

Thanks for coming in and checkig these out.
